SD at DEN: PHOTO - Wes Welker's new helmet is rather large
Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker is set to make his return to the lineup Sunday. Welker hasn't played a snap since suffering his second concussion of the season in Week 14 vs. the Tennessee Titans.
To help prevent future concussions, the Broncos outfitted Welker in a new helmet. Put bluntly, the helmet is huge. And, frankly, it looks pretty goofy.

Welker and his Broncos teammates surely couldn't care less how the helmet looks. Whatever helps keep the shifty slot superstar on the field looks great to the Broncos.
Jokesters on Twitter, though... that's another story.
