To Switzerland midfielder Valon Behrami's utter bemusement, what looked a relatively tame tackle ended with a brutal casualty.
Behrami stuck a foot in on Antoine Griezmann on a sudden breakaway and while the France forward escaped the challenge just fine, the official match ball did not, tearing and deflating almost instantly.
By our count, that's three shirts and a match ball now ripped up in less than an hour of play on the torn up grass in Lille - hamstrings, beware.
