Lewis was arrested Saturday on three misdemeanor complaints after a reported altercation at a bar, Mlive.com reports. "We are aware of the incident involving Ronnell Lewis," a statement from the Lions read. "We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time."
A fourth-round draft pick last year, Lewis appeared in eight games for the Lions in 2012, mostly on special teams, recording two tackles. It's unclear if the incident will affect Lewis' playing status at all this coming season, but it's no doubt the sort of off-field distraction that he and the team would prefer to avoid.
