The New York Jets are signing running back Breece Hall to a three-year, $45.75-million contract extension, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Jets placed their franchise tag on him in March. Hall would have earned $14.2 million next season if he'd signed the one-year tender.
Hall rushed for a career-high 1,065 yards in 2025 despite the Jets posting a 3-14 record. The Iowa State product is expected to be a staple of New York's offense under new coordinator Frank Reich.
He was emotional after reportedly securing his future in New York.
Cried for the first time since I tore my ACL. This day really hit different for me man🙏🏾🤞🏾

Teams inquired about Hall's availability last season after the Jets dealt away stars Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. However, Hall remained with New York after the trade deadline.
The 24-year-old becomes the third-highest paid halfback in the league with an annual average salary of $15.25 million, sitting behind Saquon Barkley ($20.6 million) and Christian McCaffrey ($19 million).
A dual threat out of the backfield, Hall has racked up 5,040 scrimmage yards and 27 total touchdowns over four seasons.
