Alabama added its second five-star recruit of the month when offensive tackle Tyler Booker announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Friday.
Booker is the highest-ranked offensive lineman on the ESPN 300, and the seventh highest-ranked recruit overall in 2022.
The Bradenton, Florida native picked Alabama over offers from Ohio State, Florida, and Georgia, among others.
"Alabama (has a) track record of putting guys in the first round, but the way they've been able to do that with multiple staff changes is their culture," Booker said, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports. "That's what I fell in love with from the jump, from the nutrition, to the training staff, to the weight staff, academics, everybody was committed to excellence."
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle is the second five-star recruit to join the Crimson Tide's Class of 2022 after defensive end Jeremiah Alexander also committed to the program last week.
