Days after Aston Villa terminated his contract, Swiss international defender Philippe Senderos has gone back to the country where it all started, signing with Zurich side Grasshoppers on Friday.
The 30-year-old returns to Switzerland 13 years after leaving Servette's youth academy for Arsenal in 2003. He made 84 appearances for the north London side prior to loan moves with AC Milan and Everton.
