Zach Parise recorded his second hat trick of the season and Devan Dubnyk stopped 29-of-31 shots as the Minnesota Wild beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-2 on Tuesday.
A goal in each period, including an empty-netter, helped Parise notch his first three-goal performance since the opening game of the season against the Colorado Avalanche. Parise now has a team-leading 14 goals on the season.

Meanwhile, the Wild lost their leader in assists and points as captain Mikko Koivu was sent to the hospital after a hard crash into the boards after a hit from David Savard early in the first period.
The team later announced the forward will fly back to Minnesota with the team Wednesday, but no update on the injury was given.
Thankfully, Dubnyk was also able to step up for the Wild as he continues an impressive run, holding a 3-1-1 record with just eight goals against in his last five starts.
Mikael Granlund scored the final goal for the Wild. Cam Atkinson and Nick Foligno scored for the Blue Jackets, who saw their two-game winning streak come to an end.
