Montreal Canadiens forward Juraj Slafkovsky briefly departed Sunday's Game 4 late in the second period after taking a massive hit from Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Max Crozier.

However, Slafkovsky returned for the start of the third period.

Crozier was not penalized for the play. The Canadiens did not engage in a fight with Crozier immediately after the hit.

Slafkovsky scored a hat trick, including the OT winner, in the series opener but has been held off the scoresheet ever since. This is the second time he's on the wrong end of a physical altercation, as he was one-punched by Brandon Hagel during a fight in Game 2.
