Brady Tkachuk is ready to rock.
The Ottawa Senators captain will return to the lineup for Thursday's regular-season finale against the Carolina Hurricanes, the team announced.
Tkachuk has missed eight games since suffering an upper-body injury March 30.
The 25-year-old played an instrumental role in snapping Ottawa's seven-year postseason drought, as he leads the team with 29 goals in 71 games this season.
The Senators are expected to open their Round 1 series Sunday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, where Tkachuk will make his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut.
