Redskins confirm Robert Griffin III suffered dislocated ankle; to undergo MRI Monday
Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden confirmed after the team's 41-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars that quarterback Robert Griffin III suffered a dislocated ankle during the game.
The third-year pro was carted off the field in the first quarter of Sunday's game, and was later seen with his ankle heavily taped.

Griffin will undergo X-rays and an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury to his left ankle. It is possible that there is a fracture which will require surgery.
A dislocated ankle could keep Griffin out around two months, while surgery for a fracture could cost him the rest of the season.
The Redskins hope he can return in 4-5 weeks, according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.
Backup quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 22-of-33 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns in relief of Griffin on Sunday.
