Report: Colts, Moore agree to seek trade
The Indianapolis Colts and slot cornerback Kenny Moore II mutually agreed to seek a trade, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Part of the reason they decided to part ways is Moore's fit in the team's defensive system, a source told ESPN's Stephen Holder. Indianapolis hired Lou Anarumo as its new defensive coordinator last year.
"It's all good. It's all love," Moore told Holder via text.
Moore has spent his entire career with the Colts since going undrafted in 2017.
The 30-year-old, who's entering the last season of his contract, earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2021. He tied a career high with 13 pass breakups and four interceptions that year, similar to his 2020 stat line.
In 2023, he became the first player in Colts history to score two pick-6s in a game, entering the record books against the Carolina Panthers.
Moore had one interception in 2025, returning it for a touchdown. He also had six pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and 1.5 sacks in 14 games.
He's racked up 21 career picks in 132 appearances with Indianapolis.
