Quarterback Lamar Jackson believes the Baltimore Ravens' scheme under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle will take them to another level this season.
"I can't call it what this offense is. It's everywhere. It's a lot of moving parts ... there's guys flying around," Jackson said on "Mad Dog Sports Radio."
"It's everything you need in an offense - play action, dropbacks, run game. It's everything you want in an offensive system."
At just 29 years old, Doyle is the league's youngest offensive coordinator after being hired by the Ravens to replace Todd Monken. He spent last season as the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator under Ben Johnson and previously worked as the Denver Broncos' tight ends coach on Sean Payton's staff.
Lamar and the Ravens are projected to be under center more often with Doyle at the helm, as Baltimore ranked 24th in under-center plays from 2023-25. Meanwhile, Chicago had the third-most non-shotgun snaps last season with Doyle as offensive coordinator, according to TruMedia.
The Ravens will likely use more pre-snap motion as well. Chicago posted the sixth-most offensive plays with motion in 2025, while Baltimore finished below the middle of the pack at 18th.
"I can't call it until we're on the field," Jackson said. "But inside of practice and what I've been seeing on film, I don't believe a defense is prepared for what's in store for them."
Lamar is looking to bounce back after a down year by his standards. The two-time MVP winner played in 13 games last season, throwing for 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Among 33 qualifying quarterbacks, Jackson ranked 19th in EPA/dropback.
Baltimore will showcase its new offense under Doyle against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 on Sept. 13.
