Broncos' Jeudy, Surtain suffer shoulder injuries in win over Texans
Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and cornerback Pat Surtain did not finish Sunday's 16-9 victory against the Houston Texans due to shoulder injuries.
Both players were originally deemed questionable to return before being declared out shortly after halftime.
Jeudy suffered the injury in the first quarter after coming down awkwardly on an incomplete pass, and he went into the medical tent before heading to the locker room. Surtain was seen favoring his shoulder before exiting the contest.
Surtain is the latest injury to the Broncos' secondary after safety Justin Simmons was placed on injured reserve with a thigh injury earlier this week.
Jeudy was coming off a big Week 1 showing after recording four catches for 102 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He finished Sunday's game with one reception for 11 yards.
