The Cincinnati Bengals agreed to a one-year deal with veteran offensive tackle Riley Reiff, the team announced Friday.
Reiff, 32, was released by the Minnesota Vikings last week due to salary-cap purposes.
The veteran lineman has experience at both tackle positions but predominantly starts on the left side. However, Reiff said he'll play at right tackle for the Bengals, according to Tyler Dragon of The Cincinnati Enquirer.
Head coach Zac Taylor added that Jonah Williams will start opposite of Reiff at left tackle next season, according to ESPN's Ben Baby.
"Both of those guys are going to have great futures for us at those positions," Taylor said.
Reiff is a significant addition for a Cincinnati team looking to bolster its protection of Joe Burrow. The quarterback was sacked 32 times last season and saw his season end after 10 contests due to injury.
A former first-round pick, Reiff has started 127 games since being selected in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
Reiff joins a Bengals free-agent class headlined by cornerbacks Chidobe Awuzie and Mike Hilton as well as pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson.
Cincinnati released offensive tackle Bobby Hart shortly after Reiff's signing, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
