Tyreek: Mahomes 'never throws INTs,' so I can't duplicate Metcalf's tackle

Would Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill be able to sprint 90 yards to catch a defender and save his team from a pick-6 like Seattle Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf did last week?

Hill doesn't think he'll ever show similar speed, but not because he isn't fast enough.

"I would never be able to like showcase that, because Patrick (Mahomes) never throws interceptions," Hill said Friday, according to Cody Tapp of 610 Sports.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was intercepted three yards away from the end zone against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, and Metcalf then chased down safety Budda Baker to stop him from scoring.

The pass-catcher's effort ended up preventing a touchdown even after Arizona's ensuing drive, as the Cardinals' offense turned the ball over on downs.

In two-plus NFL seasons as a starter, Mahomes has thrown 59 touchdowns against two interceptions in the red zone. He's been intercepted only once inside the opponent's 10-yard line.

The Super Bowl LIV MVP has thrown just one interception this year, while Wilson has been intercepted six times, including three picks against the Cardinals.

Hill, who's often called the "Cheetah" due to his impressive speed, is considered one of the fastest players in NFL history.
