The Las Vegas Raiders were fined $50,000 for allowing a non-credentialed employee to enter their locker room after beating the New Orleans Saints in Week 2, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Under COVID-19 protocols, only 40 employees are allowed to be in a team's locker room. Those employees must belong to the coaching, training, or equipment staff unless they are the general manager, the designated security member, or the assigned communications officer.
The violation took place on a monumental night for the Raiders, as it marked the first game and victory in their new home at Allegiant Stadium.
The Raiders have racked up fines early into the season for failing to comply with COVID-19 policies. The league docked head coach Jon Gruden $100,000 for not keeping his mask on while coaching, and the Raiders were penalized $250,000 for his violation.
The Raiders also drew scrutiny after a number of players were seen at Darren Waller's charity event without masks.
