Betting picks for every team total in Week 11
Here's a look at the team totals for all 26 teams playing in Week 11, along with our picks and confidence level:
Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks
Packers' team total: 22.5 points
Green Bay has been tough to trust away from Lambeau Field, but short weeks have, for the most part, favored the offenses this season.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Seahawks' team total: 25.5 points
Opponents have hit the team total over 15 times in Green Bay's previous 18 road games, scoring nearly 30 points per game. This will also be the Packers' third contest away from home in four weeks and second on the West Coast. We're all-in on the Seahawks' offense in Week 11.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts
Titans' team total: 23.5 points
Trust a stale Titans offense or a Colts defense which has had its flaws masked by a three-game winning streak? We'll side with the home team.
Pick: Under 23.5 (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐
Colts' team total: 24.5 points
Indianapolis is on a crazy offensive surge, averaging 33.3 points per game over the last six and coming off 29 last week against the Jaguars. Statistically, Jacksonville and Tennessee are identical in adjusted yards allowed per play this season, so common logic would point to another high-scoring output from the Colts on Sunday. However, we're fans of the under in this one.
Pick: Under (24.5)
Confidence Level: ⭐
Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons
Cowboys' team total: 22.5 points
Will Dak Prescott be the latest quarterback to tear up the Falcons' secondary? The Cowboys desperately need to get Ezekiel Elliott going to open things up for the passing game - Atlanta is giving up plenty of yardage to opposing running backs this season. Dallas will get things going offensively after mustering only seven points in Atlanta last season.
Pick: Over 22.5 (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Falcons' team total: 26.5 points
The Falcons are 5-1 to the team total over their last six home games following a loss on the road. That has to count for something, right?
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Steelers' team total: 26.5 points
It's time to seriously consider whether the Jaguars' defense is an elite unit this season. After allowing an average of 14 points through the first four games of 2018, Jacksonville has given up 28.6 over the last five. Will the turnaround come against one of the hottest offenses in the league? It's a coin flip for us, but we'll take yet another shot on the Jaguars' defense.
Pick: Under (-110)
Confidence Level: ⭐
Jaguars' team total: 19.5 points
The Steelers' defense is No. 2 in the NFL in adjusted yards per play this season (5.1), trailing only Baltimore (4.9) for the top spot. The Jaguars had their way with Pittsburgh's defense in both games last season, scoring 30 and 45 points, respectively. It won't be as smooth a sail in Week 11.
Pick: Under (+100)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens
Bengals' team total: OFF
Oddsmakers are still waiting on Baltimore's quarterback situation to pan out before releasing numbers for the game on Sunday. But here's some food for thought: The Bengals are 8-0 to the first-half over in their last eight road games.
Pick: None
Confidence Level: None
Ravens' team total: OFF
Fire up the Lamar Jackson era!
Pick: None
Confidence Level: None
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants
Buccaneers' team total: 25.5 points
It isn't exactly fair to say the Buccaneers "struggled" in last Sunday's 16-3 loss to the Redskins. Do you know how difficult it is to pile up more than 500 yards of offense and register only three points? Extremely. Tampa Bay's offense is fine; the Bucs simply shot themselves in the foot last week.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Giants' team total: 26.5 points
This is yet another fade of the Buccaneers' defense, which is giving up more than 40 points per game on the road through five games this season.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Houston Texans at Washington Redskins
Texans' team total: 22.5 points
Houston has scored more than 20 points only twice during its six-game win streak, and only three times in nine games this season. Road teams coming off the bye have been stellar as of late, but the Texans' offense hasn't.
Pick: Under (-110)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Redskins' team total: 19.5 points
Alex Smith and Co. are one of the worst in the league in adjusted yards per play this year. Houston's defense comes in rested and it might not even need it.
Pick: Under (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Carolina Panthers at Detroit Lions
Panthers' team total: 27.5 points
The flaw in Carolina's offense has been its inability to score on the road, where the Panthers are averaging 20.8 points per game this season - roughly 11 fewer than they average at home. Bettors keen on the under are still working with a number Carolina has yet to surpass on the road this season.
Pick: Under (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐
Lions' team total: 21.5 points
Detroit's offense has gone stagnant, scoring 22 points or fewer over a three-game losing streak after doing that only once in the previous six contests to start the season.
Pick: Under (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers
Broncos' team total: 19.5 points
Fading the Chargers' defense in these pieces hasn't worked out all that well. So, of course, we're going to do it again. This time, it's against an offense averaging roughly 6.0 adjusted yards per play and coming off the bye.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Chargers' team total: 27.5 points
We'll take a shot on Denver's defense, which has been pretty underrated at limiting opposing quarterbacks on the road this season.
Pick: Under (-125)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐
Oakland Raiders at Arizona Cardinals
Raiders' team total: 16.5 points
Defenses were giving up points in bunches the week after facing Kansas City earlier this year, but that pattern has since slowed down the last two weeks. Arizona would fit the bill in Week 11, but the Raiders look lifeless on offense and are averaging 11.4 points per game in their last seven against the NFC.
Pick: Under (-110)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Cardinals' team total: 23.5 points
One of the worst offenses in the league against one of the worst defenses? Good grief. Give us the less-predictive side of the ball and root for a miracle performance by the one-win Raiders.
Pick: Under (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints
Eagles' team total: 23.5 points
The Eagles are averaging roughly 30 points per game on the road in their last 11 with Carson Wentz starting, hitting the team total over in nine of those.
Pick: Over (-110)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Saints' team total: 33.5 points
Betting against Drew Brees - especially in the dome - is very little fun.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears
Vikings' team total: 20.5 points
It also isn't easy to bet against Kirk Cousins, who can stand in the pocket and make plays despite playing behind a spotty line. Fading the Bears' defense at home is a contrarian move, but there's too much skill in the Vikings' offense.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Bears' team total: 23.5 points
The Vikings' defense does not travel well and Mitchell Trubisky is on an absolute roll. Another prime-time shootout.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Rams
Chiefs' team total: 29.5 points
Two teams that typically get our vote of confidence for hitting the team total over on a weekly basis meet up in a battle of the league's two best scoring offenses. Once again, there isn't much in this one that would suggest Kansas City will slow down.
Pick: Over (-120)
Confidence Level: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Rams' team total: 33.5 points
On the other hand, there are two things that have us weary of the Rams: the Chiefs' pass rush and the loss of Cooper Kupp. If you're looking for a flier on this one, we'd side with L.A. going under its team total.
Pick: Under (-110)
Confidence Level: ⭐
