Mathis will not return to Thursday's matchup against the Steelers after suffering an elbow injury, Bob Kravitz of WTHR.com reports.
Analysis:
Mathis had recorded just one tackle through three quarters before being forced out of the game. The seriousness of the injury is unknown at this time. Akeem Ayers will presumably fill in for Mathis at right outside linebacker.
