Tennessee's Guarantano exits vs. Alabama with injury

Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano left Saturday's game against Alabama with an injury in the second quarter and was taken to the locker room.

Guarantano took several big hits from the swarming Crimson Tide defense in the opening half. He completed a deep pass while absorbing the shot that knocked him out of the contest.

The sophomore entered Week 8 with 1,129 passing yards along with six touchdowns and two interceptions. He was replaced in the huddle by former Stanford transfer Keller Chryst.
