Adonis Watt, a freshman running back for Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, ran for two touchdowns in a game last week. That's a big achievement for any high school football player, but for Watt, it was extra special because he's completely blind.
Watt has a rare form of congenital glaucoma that caused him to lose his sight at the age of five. He told Richard Obert of Arizona Republic earlier in September that he relies on his hearing, instincts, and guts on the field.
"No point in being scared," Watt said. "That's how you get injured."
In his first high school football game, the opposing team realized Watt was blind and opened up its defense to allow him to run for a 45-yard touchdown in the final minute. That wasn't the case for Brophy's Sept. 12 game against Mesa Mountain View.
"We didn't even tell the officials this game," coach Scott Heideman said.

Watt has big dreams for his football career.
"I wanna take it to the NFL," he told CBS News' Tony Dokoupil. "All the way."
