Arizona State cornerback Kareem Orr is dropping down to the FCS level, but for good reason.
Orr and his girlfriend are expecting a baby in August, and he'll transfer to Tennessee-Chattanooga to be closer to his family.
"She's due in August, so it was important for me to be back home for her," Orr told Gene Henley of the Times Free Press. "I like the environment they've got going at UTC, and I'm really excited about the opportunity to get to be a part of that. I'm looking forward to helping get the city turned up again, and I think we'll do big things."
Orr had a decent season for the Sun Devils in 2016, recording 55 tackles and an interception. He'll be immediately eligible with two season to play.
