St. John's guard Rysheed Jordan returned to practice Monday after taking a leave of absence to mourn the death of his grandmother, the school announced.
"Rysheed has returned from his home after going through a challenging week," head coach Steve Lavin said. "He will practice with the team today and suit up tomorrow for our game with Villanova."
The sophomore is averaging 14.0 points per game, good for second on the team.
