Jacksonville will name Tony Jasick as its new head coach, ending his three-year tenure at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, the team's official website announced.
There will be a press conference Thursday, where it's reported Jasik will sign a five-year contract.
He was able to lead IPFW to a school record of 25 wins in 2014 and guided them to their postseason victory.
Jasick replaces Chris Warren, whose contract was not renewed after his team performed poorly and registered a third consecutive losing season.
Taking over for Jasik as head coach at IPFW will be his former assistant Jon Coffman, according to Tommy Schoegler and Eric Dutkiewicz of 21Alive News.
