Report: Arkansas' Fland done for year with hand injury
Arkansas freshman guard Boogie Fland will miss the rest of the season due to a hand injury, sources told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Fland is Arkansas' second-leading scorer, averaging 15.1 points, 5.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 18 games.
The 18-year-old suffered the injury in the Razorbacks' loss to Florida on Jan. 11, coach John Calipari said, according to Connor Goodson of 247Sports. He played in the team's next two games - losses to LSU and Missouri.
Fland originally committed to Kentucky but followed Calipari to Arkansas. The five-star guard was the highest-ranked prospect in the Razorbacks' recruiting class of 2024.
Arkansas is 11-7 on the season and amid a five-game losing streak. The Razorbacks haven't won a single division game in Calipari's first season with the school.
