Missouri forward Jontay Porter has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return to Columbia for his sophomore season, the school announced Wednesday.
The younger brother of consensus top-10 pick Michael Porter Jr., Jontay re-classified into this year's freshman class and ended up being one of the Tigers' leaders once Porter Jr. went down with a back injury and missed most of the season.
Porter averaged 11.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game and earned SEC co-Sixth Man of the Year honors as Missouri returned to the NCAA tournament for the first time since the 2012-13 season.
