Delaware has finally found its man.
After a long search, the Blue Hens announced Tuesday the hiring of Notre Dame assistant Martin Ingelsby to be their next head coach, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, citing sources.
Ingelsby has been an assistant coach with the Fighting Irish since 2009, helping Notre Dame to a pair of NCAA tournament appearances.
It won't be an easy situation for Ingelsby to take over, as Delaware managed only seven wins this season and just 17 over the past two years.
