Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving started in Monday's 127-90 blowout loss to the Utah Jazz after missing the last 12 games due to a heel injury.
Irving wasn't on a minutes restriction in his first contest since sustaining the injury on Dec. 8 versus the Portland Trail Blazers. He tallied 14 points, nine boards, four assists, and one block in 32 minutes.
The Mavs went 6-6 during the veteran guard's absence.
Irving entered Monday's tilt averaging 23 points, 5.2 assists, 3.9 boards, and 1.2 steals in his first full campaign in the Lone Star state. Dallas acquired him from the Brooklyn Nets prior to last season's trade deadline.
The Mavs re-signed Irving to a three-year, $120-million contract this past offseason.
The defeat dropped Dallas to 19-15 and seventh in the West.
