Brooklyn Nets forward T.J. Warren won't be ready for opening night as he recovers from a left foot injury, head coach Steve Nash said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell.

Nash added that the team will re-evaluate Warren in November, according to Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News.

Warren says his foot is fully healed, although he still has to undergo more rehab work in order to get cleared, Friedell notes.

Warren has missed all but four games over the past two seasons after he suffered a stress fracture in his left foot in December 2020.

The Nets signed the 29-year-old forward to a one-year, $2.6-million contract in July.

Warren was one of the standouts of the 2020 NBA bubble, earning All-Bubble first-team honors after averaging 28 points and 6.4 rebounds in eight contests.
