The Portland Trail Blazers and Jusuf Nurkic agreed to a new four-year, $70-million deal, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Nurkic averaged 15 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals in 56 games for Portland last season.
The 27-year-old has spent six seasons with the Blazers. They acquired the Bosnian big man from the Denver Nuggets in 2017, sending Mason Plumlee to their division rival. Nurkic has flourished in Portland, averaging 14.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 blocks, and a steal in 272 career games.
Portland signed guard Anfernee Simons to a long-term deal and reportedly added veteran guard Gary Payton II on a 3-year, $28-million contract in free agency.
