Hulkenberg finished 11th in the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Imola on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Another Q3 effort in qualifying would net Hulkenberg a good starting spot at 10th on the grid. The Haas F1 veteran would get away good at the lights out and quickly promote to P8 by the end of lap 1. From there, Hulkenberg would fight a series of defensive battles with faster drivers behind him. Thrilling battles with Lance Stroll and Yuki Tsunoda would highlight his grand prix, and Hulkenberg would eventually settle in behind Tsunoda and defend P11 over the final 13 laps to the finish.
