Cloud narrowly beats Wheeler to win Skills Challenge
New York Liberty guard Natasha Cloud defeated the Seattle Storm's Erica Wheeler in the final to win the 2025 WNBA Skills Challenge on Friday.
Cloud edged Wheeler by 1.1 seconds in the final round to secure the victory. The Liberty wing completed the course in 36.4 seconds after Wheeler set the mark to beat at 37.5 seconds.

Cloud earned a $55,000 prize with the win.
Wheeler's Storm teammate Skylar Diggins, Minnesota Lynx guard Courtney Williams, and Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream - last year's Skills Challenge winner - also competed. Gray, who won the Three-Point Contest last season, also defended her crown in the shooting competition Friday but fell to Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu in the final.
