Natasha Cloud blasted those who threw sex toys onto the court Friday during the Chicago Sky's 73-70 win over the Golden State Valkyries, calling them "lame as f---k."
"That hate is unwarranted. It's not factual," Cloud told reporters postgame. "It says more about the internal struggles of that individual than it ever will say about the collective group.
"The men that are throwing it, it also shows that you are weak - like, extremely weak - and it says a lot about how you feel about women."
Multiple sex toys were launched toward the floor during the third quarter, forcing a delay in a WNBA contest for the second straight evening.
Thursday's matchup between the Atlanta Dream and Los Angeles Sparks was also disrupted for the same reason.
The individual responsible for the incident in Los Angeles was arrested by arena security and issued an indefinite ban from all WNBA, NBA, and other league-affiliated games and events, a source told Colin Salao of Front Office Sports.
Sex toys were thrown onto the court at several WNBA games last season, with some of the incidents resulting in arrests.
