Jagr tweets he's 'too old' for 3-on-3 All-Star game
Currently leading the Atlantic Division in All-Star voting, Florida Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr certainly appreciates the support he's getting from fans around the league.
But the 43-year-old, a veteran of 12 All-Star games in his storied career, had to take to Twitter to say the new 3-on-3 format may be too much for him.
Fans-I appreciate your votes for All-Star game, but 3 on 3 would kill me,and i don't want to die yet:)Thank you for understanding. Too old:)

Though one man's encouragement did peak Jagr's interest - former league elder statesmen Teemu Selanne - the five-time Art Ross winner still voiced his concern with the potential of continued changes to the All-Star format.
@TeemuSel8nne :))) I do it for you, but if they decide, it's not good and change it again in 2026 to play 2 on 2-i'm not going:) too old 54

If Jagr wants to play another 10 years, most fans would be absolutely fine with him choosing to watch the All-Star game from home.
