The San Jose Sharks signed restricted free-agent forward Collin Graf to a three-year contract carrying an average annual value of $4.25 million, the team announced Friday.
"Collin was a big part of our team's improvement this past season, being an effective penalty killer for us, and his versatility in the lineup was extremely valuable," general manager Mike Grier said in a statement. "His hardworking attitude and work ethic is a big reason why his game took another stride last year, and he continues to be an important person in our young group of players. We're happy we are able to keep him a Shark for the next several seasons."
Graf emerged as an important piece in the Sharks' lineup last season, notching a career-high 21 goals and 46 points in 81 games. He played over 16 minutes per contest and had extended looks on a line with superstar Macklin Celebrini.
The Sharks signed the undrafted Graf to an entry-level contract in 2024 following his prolific NCAA career at Quinnipiac.
Graf was the final unsigned player on the Sharks' books this offseason. San Jose has had a busy offseason to date, bringing in Darnell Nurse, Jacob Trouba, and Michael Kesselring to shore up its blue line while also drafting Ivar Stenberg second overall and signing Celebrini to a record-breaking contract extension.
