The first overall pick from the 2013 NHL Draft is putting on a show in one of hockey's great cities.
Late in the first period of Saturday's game in Montreal, Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon scored two goals in a matter of 13 seconds on Canadiens goalie Mike Condon.

The outburst gives him eight goals in 17 games, putting him on pace to easily surpass the career-high 24 he recorded as a rookie.
