Things got a bit heated during Sunday's Young Stars game between the Winnipeg Jets and Vancouver Canucks.
The precipitating event was this cross check delivered by defenseman Jordan Subban on Nikolaj Ehlers, driving the talented forward into the end boards.

Jets prospect Brendan Lemieux took exception to the hit and attempted to drop the gloves with Subban.
Both players earned offsetting minor penalties, as Subban was called for boarding, while Lemieux was assessed a roughing penalty.
Ehlers was able to get up and skate off to the bench following the fracas.
