The Winnipeg Jets re-signed restricted free-agent forward Cole Perfetti to a five-year contract carrying an average annual value of $6 million, the team announced Wednesday.

Perfetti was scheduled to have an arbitration hearing Monday.

The 24-year-old tallied 12 goals and 20 assists in 68 games last season. He produced a career-high 50 points in 2024-25.

He'll likely be tasked with driving the Jets' second line next season - and potentially beyond.

Perfetti is now Winnipeg's fourth-highest paid forward. His contract expires in 2031, the same year Mark Scheifele, Gabe Vilardi, Adam Lowry, Neal Pionk, and Connor Hellebuyck are all set to become unrestricted free agents.

The Jets drafted Perfetti 10th overall in 2020.
