The Pittsburgh Penguins and restricted-free-agent forward Nick Robertson settled on a two-year contract worth $3.25 million per season to avoid arbitration, the team announced Tuesday.
The Penguins acquired Robertson from the Toronto Maple Leafs for a 2028 fourth-round pick earlier in July. The winger has played on one-year contracts the past two seasons and received a sizable raise from the $1.825 million he earned in 2025-26.
Robertson set career highs in games played (78), goals (16), points (32), and average ice time (12:40) last season. He was primarily used in a depth role across six campaigns with the Maple Leafs, who drafted him 53rd overall in 2019.
The Penguins still have over $13 million in cap space after signing Robertson, per PuckPedia. Pittsburgh is yet to make any significant splashes this offseason after ending a three-year playoff drought this past spring.
