Jaroslav Halak went toe-to-toe with Devan Dubnyk and produced a goaltender's duel in Tuesday's game between the Minnesota Wild and the New York Islanders.

Dubnyk made 34 saves in regulation, while Halak stopped 28, but the Islanders netminder made the save of the contest midway through the second period.

Mikko Koivu sent a pass to Jason Pominville on a rush for what appeared to be an easy tap-in, but Halak extended his left pad in time to rob the Wild of the game's opening goal.
