Bogosian, who is averaging close to 27 minutes a night with the Sabres, is welcoming the increased minutes and role since arriving from Winnipeg, reports WGR 550.
Analysis:
Bogosian has four assists in 12 games with Buffalo as a do-it-all defenseman, playing significant minutes in all situations. What's more impressive, however, is that Bogosian has a plus-3 rating on a team that allows a lot of goals. Going forward, Bogosian will be the Sabres' top defenseman until Rasmus Ristolainen and Nikita Zadorov are ready to take over the reins. In deep leagues, Bogosian still has value due to the amount of opportunities he's been given, but he's still a defense-first player who provides more peripheral stats than scoring ability. He has 106 hits and 47 blocked shots on the season.
