The Anaheim Ducks didn't even need to break a sweat to clinch a playoff spot on Tuesday.

The Ducks clinched their second straight playoff berth when the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Dallas Stars, who trail Anaheim by 20 points with 10 games remaining while the Ducks hold the tiebreaker of regulation and overtime wins.
Anaheim also could have clinched a spot if the Phoenix Coyotes lost, but the Coyotes defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins to solidify their hold on the final wild card spot in the Western Conference.
The Ducks have missed the playoffs twice over the last eight seasons, but have only won one playoff series since their 2007 Stanley Cup championship.
