The Boston Bruins are listening to trade offers for center Pavel Zacha, reports Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic.
However, Boston would reportedly prefer to secure an extension this offseason for the 29-year-old, who has one year left on his contract with a $4.75-million cap hit.
Despite looking to sign Zacha, the Bruins could opt to capitalize on a thin free-agent market for centers and have fielded calls for the Czech forward over the last week, adds LeBrun.
If the Bruins opt to move him, his contract apparently includes an eight-team no-trade list.
Zacha is coming off a career-high 65 points in his 11th NHL season, scoring a personal-best 30 goals in 78 games.
