Bruins ink Shattenkirk to 1-year agreement

The Boston Bruins signed defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk to a one-year contract worth $1.05 million, the team announced.

The 34-year-old tallied four goals and 23 assists with the Anaheim Ducks this past season.

Shattenkirk is familiar with the area, having spent three years at Boston University before turning pro.
