The Montreal Canadiens traded defenseman Jayden Struble to the Nashville Predators for a second-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft, the teams announced Friday.
The draft selection initially belonged to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Struble appeared in a career-high 59 games last season. He's gone pointless through three appearances in the 2026-27 campaign and is averaging just over 12 minutes per contest.
The 25-year-old carries a $1.4-million cap hit and is eligible for restricted free agency next summer.
