Dez Bryant may miss much more time than initially expected after recently undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot.
The Dallas Cowboys' star wide receiver required a bone graft as part of the procedure and is now expected to miss 10-to-12 weeks as a result, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
If Bryant's cleared to return on the short side of the updated timeframe, he'd be in position to play in late November, while the full 12-week absence would keep him out until early December.
Either way, the Cowboys will now go without their top offensive playmaker for the majority of the 2015 season.
