Ahmad Bradshaw was issued a one-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Bradshaw pleaded not guilty to a marijuana possession charge in February.

The veteran running back remains a free agent with training camp rapidly approaching.

Bradshaw rushed for 425 yards and two touchdowns on 90 carries, playing in 10 games with the Indianapolis Colts in 2014. The 29-year-old proved to be a capable receiver as well, recording 38 receptions for 300 yards and six touchdowns.

However, his season came to a crashing halt after he suffered a fractured fibula against the New England Patriots in a Week 11 defeat.

As a member of the New York Giants, Bradshaw captured two Super Bowls. The ninth-year pro is most famous for scoring the winning touchdown in Super Bowl XLVI, when he stumbled into the end zone in an attempt to curtail his momentum. Bradshaw was trying to limit the amount of time available for the New England Patriots to mount a comeback, but the Giants held on for a 21-17 victory.
