Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane suffered a broken arm during Super Bowl XLIX, an injury that Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll deemed 'significant' on Monday.
Lane suffered the injury after intercepting Tom Brady in the first quarter of Sunday's game, and broke his arm on the same play during the return.
Tharold Simon replaced Lane during the Super Bowl and struggled mightily against the Patriots' shiftier, more agile receivers.
Lane recorded 13 tackles and a forced fumble.
