After sitting out Wednesday's team session with a shoulder injury, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Philly Brown was able to participate on a limited basis in practice Thursday.
While his playing status for Saturday's divisional-round playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks remains up in the air, his return to practice can be considered a good sign for his chances of suiting up.
The 23-year-old rookie is one of the Panthers' lone deep threats, and his availability would provide a significant boost for the passing game as they take on the league's top-ranked defense.
