The New Orleans Saints scored 17 unanswered points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday to defeat their NFC South rivals 37-31 in overtime.

- Khiry Robinson secured the overtime victory for the Saints with an 18-yard rushing touchdown.
- Saints tight end Jimmy Graham injured his right shoulder after taking a big hit from Lavonte David in the first quarter. He returned to the game briefly, but was declared out for the second half.
- Bucs wide receiver Vincent Jackson had his best game of the season, catching eight passes for a game-high 144 yards.
- The Bucs were without linebacker Mason Foster for the third consecutive game as he recovers from a dislocated shoulder. Dane Fletcher got the start at middle linebacker in place of Foster.
- Saints quarterback Drew Brees became the fastest quarterback in NFL history to reach 40,000 career passing yards with one team. He completed 35-of-57 passes for 371 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.
- Bucs quarterback Mike Glennon finished 19-of-32 passing for 249 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
- With the win, the Saints moved into a tie with the Atlanta Falcons for second place in the NFC South. The Bucs remain at the bottom of the division at 1-4.
