Two words that have never appeared on an NFL injury report: mosquito bite.

Teams don't issue official injury reports for OTAs, but if they did, New York Jets wide receiver David Nelson's recent absence at practice would be impossible to explain without those words.

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Nelson missed an entire week of Jets OTAs because he was quarantined by doctors after developing a fever and strep throat as a result of a mosquito bite he suffered on a recent trip to Haiti.

Nelson has since returned to health and joined his teammates on the practice field.
